Little Sisterhood of Saint Barbara

In September 2025, with the blessing of Archpriest Nazari, the Little Sisterhood of Saint Barbara the Great Martyr resumed its activities. Its members—girls aged 5 and older—perform their small church duties during Sunday and feast-day Divine Liturgies. They help care for the candlesticks, distribute prayer sheets to parishioners for communal prayer, collect donations, and perform other duties in the church. By helping and participating in parish life, the girls learn responsibility and a love for the church and its services. The Sisterhood helps them feel like part of the parish family, be of service to their parish, and find their place in the life of the Church.
